The statistics on blindness are staggering, but people don’t go blind by the million - they go blind one by one.
For each person the impact is enormous. Loss of sight often results in social exclusion, making blind people vulnerable to abuse, poverty and early death. Less than half of all children who lose their sight will survive to adulthood.

For the fourth time since our partnership began, Liverpool FC is helping us raise awareness and funds for Seeing is Believing by facilitating a logo swap on the first team home shirt during the LFC game against Tottenham Hotspur on 10 February at 20.00 GMT.
The previous three Perfect Match campaigns have helped to raise over USD300K including bank matching. The campaign has also been an excellent platform to raise awareness about avoidable blindness.
